Although not all pantries have the capacity to distribute fresh produce, they do have a wish list that includes items low in sugar and salt, gluten free and low-fat options as well as protein-dense foods, grains and oil. You can click on the image to the right and download it for print.

Whether you’re looking to host a food drive or join volunteers gleaning local farms and gardens, you can find out how to get involved by contacting Ozarks Food Harvest. Ozarks Food Harvest is the only food bank serving 28 counties of southwest Missouri that include more than 200 hunger-relief agencies such as pantries, soup kitchens, senior centers, shelters and children’s backpack programs.

The Food Bank distributes nearly 14 million pounds of food, equivalent to roughly 11.6 million meals to 260,000 individuals throughout the Ozarks annually. They are one of six food banks serving Missouri through the Feeding America network.
