Kids’ Pizza Making Party at Farmers Market of the Ozarks

Thursday, September 4, MU Extension held a Pizza Making Party at Farmer’s Market of the Ozarks!  Kids assembled their own pizzas – made with fresh market produce – and then took them home to bake. Party goers also participated in a  “Pizza Toss” activity and learned about kid-friendly fruits and veggies. Adults enjoyed the fun as well and received information about using fresh produce in season, and health benefits of eating a variety of fruits and veggies. Educators from MU Extension’s Family Nutrition Education Program provided hands-on education and materials. Much thanks to everyone involved for making this an exciting night!
